The Things He Left Behind

6 months and he won't get his shit. He will tell the whole town I am holding it hostage, but in reality I've been begging him to come get it the whole time! Oh, he came and got his equipment for his "band" but left his belongings, his parents things, his dog....and ME! so here I go, cleaning all his shit outta my living and working space. He refuses to get it, it is outta here! I won't let another man take advantage of me like this ever again! This is THE heartbreak that has me jaded to the point that I will NEVER date again! 
It is just too painful and has turned my world inside out...I quit!

Maybe someday this will all make sense and I will forget You. Someday I will be able to wake up and You won't be my first thought.....but for now, I still love You so much that I don't understand. How can I love the one who hurt me the most? How can I still love a ghost?
